How many first gens left?

My wife just asked me, out of 400+ thousand made, how many first gens do you think are on the road today? I live in canada and I never see them any more, maybe I have seen 5 in the last 3 years.

That's a good question and I've also wondered it. I would guess that just about everyone who has one would be a member here so add up the active members somehow and give or take a few???? Ive had mine over a year and I have only seen 1 and unless that young fellow did sum n quick his was soon to be 86ed. Rare bird where I'm at- even rarer all stock cept for the bonez pipe. I see the same 20 on eBay over and over again with a new 1 mixed in there every now and again. Bet they ALL members too excluding dealers.

Sent from my iPad using RX7Club. how bout that!

You could search by # known registered, currently. This doesn't tell you how many are actually around though, just how many are operable.

The guy I bought mine from (three years ago) had two - mine (S, 85) and a GSL-SE (also 85). I have seen maybe six or seven in the last several years in my area - which is the Raleigh/Durham area of NC.
