Cool Stupid axle puller!

Pulled my first 2 rear axles today. learned a lot. like... if you don't disconnect the hard brake line, the axle stops short of completely comming out!!!

so, I've bent the hard brake line (it now sticks about 3 inches past where it should be. It doesn't look kinked, but I don't know if I can rebend it to the proper shape w/o kinking it...

do I get a replacement, or try to get it back into shape? Any suggestions on how to get it back to shape w/o screwing it up>

thanks!

I know it sux, but I think the best bet is to get a new line. You don't want to mess around with brakes.

You might as well try to bent it back, chances are it'll kink, but you might get lucky. If it does kink then get a new one. Good luck

Get a brake tubing bender and take your time. If you do kink it, the take it to the parts store and see if they have staight lines made up in the length you need. If nothing else, you will have a pattern to work from with the old one.
