Question Stuck Bolt

Okay, so I'm taking apart my 80 RX-7's carbeurator, and I'm to the step where you have to take out the bolt that is right under the fuel/return lines. It's stuck as a bitch. There is another siezed screw on top of the air horn, it's also stuck. What are the best chemicals or techniques for getting those stuck bolts and screws.

Try a penetrating liquid such as liquid wrench made by gunk. I've been told chemicals like WD-40 won't penetrate and really will not do much.

Go to Autozone and get a can of JB Catalyst (I think I got the name right). Big yellow (?) can with all kinds of writing all over it. Stuff works incredibly well, I'll never go back to Liquid Wrench!

I failed with the big bolt, but I was able to get the air horn screw out with a sweet tool, an Impact Driver. My dad had it, and it's like 20 years old. It's got a spring loaded metal body with interchangeable tips, and as you hit it with a hammer, it rotates. That thing saved my life. If you don't have one, get one. On the bolt, I tried using an impact wrench, but it spun the head off, so now I have a completely stripped bolt head. I guess I will try JB Catalyst, it sounded good to me. Thanks guys.

Those handheld impacts are worth their weight in gold. For the bolt thats left, try vice grips. The head is already gone so you got nothing to lose.

Yep, that's the stuff alright! I won't waste my money on anything else now that I've tried it.
