stuck

hey people got a problem hopefully i can get some help from from the rotor gods.
i have a 85 gs model 7 its five speed my starter went on it last summer finnaly got to putting a another one in but dosen't wanna start.
new battery checked the connections...nothing
had an aftermarket alarm with a starter kill feature so i disconeted it and still nothing.....help.

can you be more specific on the symptoms.....is it turning over slow, not turning over but clicking, not doing anything?

Check all your connections, including the grounds. Also check that the starter is getting power from the ign switch.

when i try to start it you can hear the starter soleinoid winding but theres no noise from anything else almost as if the battery is dead but it's new.

It makes a buzzing sound when you turn the key? Does anything else work? lights...etc...

Most likely you bought a rebuild and it's shot...
