Strut top bearing replacement...

Looking at the parts catalog, seems I have to get the whole top block assembly replaced, because I can't find anything about replacing just the bearings. Those blocks are $80 a pop... Is that the only option? Other than getting camber plates, that is.

if you are talking about the THRUST bearing that sits beneath the block, these are listed as separate parts in the OE parts catalogue. Have you checked with Mazda??

Yes, the thrust bearings. I did check with Mazda and they say for my model the bearing is part of the block and not a separate part, which is kind of annoying, but whatever. Guess I'll replace the blocks.

Just cause Mazda sell's them as an assembly does not mean you can't remove the block, press out and replace the bearing.......
