Strange carb issue!!!

Okay let me start out buy saying the carb is boost prepped and stripped Nikki.

Here is the deal. When I shut the car off somewhere between 5-20 min later the float bowls will empty into the secondaries flooding the car whilest its off.

The strangest thing is that i can run my fuel system off of a toggle switch with the key forward and let the system circulate and when i shut it off the system wont bleed down into my secondaries. It only does this after the car was run and shut off. It will do this with or without the turbo charge pipe attached to the carb.

What would cause fuel to be drawn out of the float bowls into the secondaries after the car is off? All my return lines are new so thats not it.

Like i said its only after the car has been running and shut off. It dosnt even do it right away happens 5-20min after its off. Any ideas would be great!

You are building too much fuel pressure. There is a block in the return line or you have a bad FPR possibly. I had the same issue with my SA. I cleaned out the return line restrictor and it fixed it

everything is brand new includeing line fpr isnt the issue read above. i can run the fuel system with the car off and it dosnt bleed back down. its the same amount of fuel pressure when the car is running or if its not running! You understnad this is on a turbo 12a blowthrough setup i hope.

With the key on and the toggle switch flipped the fuel system cycles 3 psi fuel pressure let it run for hours if i want too and nothing. Fire the car up for a few seconds and shut it off 5-20 min later the bowels have vented into the secodnaries. Something is drawing the fuel out of the bowels. If i have to i will just leave the toggle in place and let the bowels empty before i shut off car. I would like to know what the cause is though!

Unless I am mistaken, you have just described what would happen with a faulty vent solenoid. It does not flood while running, only after the engine is shut off. That solenoid is there to prevent that flooding after shutdown.
