Straight Pipe on '81 GSL

I own a '81 GSL, its fully stock, i want to make it the loudest i can (legally) without sounding rice. I was thinking just a straight pipe, any suggestions, and maybe some sound clips for examples?

I have a header , 2.5 inch piping straight into a borla xr-1 17 inch straigh through race muffler, and it is LOUD. I tried straightpipe (w/o said muffler) before, and if anyone was standing anything closer than 20 feet from the car, the sound would make their ears hurt. I have a stock 82 12a in my 84 se. So, I would be careful with the straigh pipe idea. As far as the freeway, with the straightpipe, its almost unbearable INSIDE the car, much less outside. This is why I have a muffler. Granted, it feels like I lost a few horses, but it doesn't make me deaf while still pissing off the neighbors.

You do NOT want to go straightpipe. I have 3 mufflers (yes 3!!) and my car was still louder than a honda with a fart can. This is with the stock 12A and just a stock exhaust mani.
