Storage Advice?

It may be that I will need to store my RX-7 for some time (measured in months). What needs to be done to protect it, mechanically (the engine, in particular)?

I would suggest using the additive "Sea Foam" instead of gas stabilizer. I stored my '82 GSL last winter, and the last driving day I put half of a can of it into the gas, filled up w/premium, and put the other half into the engine through the oil fill cap. Then I drove it around for about 20 min. and put it into storage. This spring, she started right up the first time with 125,000 and didn't smoke a bit.
Gas stabilizers do work, but I highly recommend using this stuff. Also, how are you storing it? (indoors, outdoors, heated, etc.)

Do a Search on SEA FOAM here on the forum. Supposedly some guys have blown their engine because of it.

I would use MMO down the carb and turn it over by hand. Also a litle in the tank.
