Stop Leak Radiator additive, can i use it?

i have a radiator leak, and i was just checkin to make sure if i can use that Stop Leak stuff in my car befor i went and destroyed the engine, let me know cause im tired of buyin Dex-cool. thank you

I wouldn't do it...

Think about it, thats stuff isn't just going throught your radiator, its also going through your motor.

Yeah a new radiator is alot cheaper than a new motor, or rebuild at least.

Some people use stop leak to save engines that have bad water seals. Do a search to see what brand people have used sucessfully.

My whole cooling system is Dex-better than that green ****, well when i bought it it had been flushed and dex added, but i wouldnt use dex, all my vehicles have been converted to dex at one time or another, it just lasts longer, and works better. more expensive, but worth it.

But have you rebuilt your motor since then?

I have seen the after effects of that stuff. I would say don't.... But it is your car....
