there's nothing more pleasant to the eye than to read about the recovery of a stolen fb...

about two weeks ago, the forum was sadly informed about the great loss of one of the forum members. low-life bastards stole his fb and left him with nothing but the headers he was planning to put on that same day when they took his ride.

i'm happy to inform you that the police were able to recover the car and bring it in on all four wheels! not too much damage was done to the poor fb...

just wanted to share some happy news.

*note to the forum member who has happily reunited with his fb...

I park mine with an old CLub on the steering wheel, since it is my extra vehicle it sits alot in the driveway without me around. I know, the Club is beatable but after reading the thread about getting into a locked FB and how easy it was, I figure SOME deterent is better than none. How many joy riders carry the tools needed to beat the Club?

 

not too much police work. all it took was a bunch of fools. the car was issued a parking ticket. the police say that it was found in a heavy gang area.

luckily(and we are all thankful for this), they didn't tear the poor thing apart. but i mean come on, what car theif in their right mind to steal an rx-7 wouldn't open that baby up? they basically stole the car for a joy-ride.

don't know exactly WHO had it. at least not yet. they removed the ignition cylinder in order to bypass the steering wheel lock.

But, you can't help but laugh at the thought of 2 thugged out gangstas, maybe one curled up on the back deck, sippin some 40's and trying to blast some bass through the stock speakers in the ghetto...

the driver-side seat was pushed all the way back so whatever gangstah stole the car must have been a thick one. oh, and on the stereo equalizer... super bass and no treble oooohhhh yeah, hardcore gangstah...
