stock stereo not working, please help

Ok when I push the power button It makes a click noise by the fuse box. I have checked the fuses and they are all good to. I dont think it is the stereo because I tried a diff one and it did the same thing.

If your stock stereo is the same as the one in GSL-SEs, you have the head unit (in three parts: equalizer, tuner, and tape deck), you'll also have two stock amplifiers (one under each stroage bin). You didn't give too many details so here goes:

When you press the power button on the head unit, does it turn on? Does it turn on but no sound? The click noise is normal when the stereo turns on (the normal click anyway). Give more details.

Hmm, I know my parts car has a bad stereo that does the same thing. Are you sure the other unit you tried was working (gotta ask).

Anyways, the stock radio has a ground, a 12V battery (meaning the 12V is always present), and a 12V switched (meaning you'll only get 12V if the key is on ''accessory''). Check your connectors for corrosion also, as well as ground. I'll check the wire colors and post them tomorrow. Also, the head unit will turn on even if the stock amplifiers are not working (but no sound obviously). I'd say you've got a wiring issue or your head unit went. I'll help you with the wiring tomorrow when I get my electrical diagram. Good luck

Here's the link to the online wiring diagram, just choose year and model: http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/index.htm

The 12V accessory wire is blue with a white stripe.
The 12V battery wire is blue with a yellow stripe
The 12V light wire is red with a green stripe.
The antenna remote wire is light green.
The ground has no wire, the head unit is grounded through the car's chassis.

I'm basing this info on the wiring diagram, my RX7 is stored for winter and it's a 1.5 hour drive. Make sure you have a known good ground, 12V at all times on the blue wire with the yellow stripe and 12V when your key is on accessory on the blue wire with the white stripe. Without those your stereo will not work. If you do have the following voltages, then your head unit is most likely in need of repair. Let me know how it turns out.

Well I just tried that link above and it doesn't seem to work. I can send you the file (in PDF) but it's 34Mb.
