stock port 13B SE, which carb is the best ?

I currently run a Dellorto dhla48 on my stock port gsl-se engine. But i haven't change the settings on the carb, the jetting is the same than on my old 12a. I want to gain the higher power with the motor, which carb would be the best to use to reach maximum power.

and another question, with my 13B, my choke always come out when the car isn't warm up... It's frustrating to always hold the choke for like 10Min until the car is hot, and the choke will be able to hold by itself. Any ideas ?

Thanks a lot

Use a quarter on it's side for the choke handle.

The Dellorto is an AWESOME, (probably the best) carb for a 6 port Rotary. Parts are scarce thoug.

My advice, have someine who know alot about carbs (like webers) tune it for you.

yeah a weber or dellortro 48. Its really just a personal preference. You can tune a little finer with the dellortro however. The jets on dellortro go up by 1's and weber jets go up by 5's.

I have a weber 48, and I dont ever use my choke(dont have one haha) and it runs fine.

I have a Dell that I have been running on a 12A, and with that setting setup it ran a little rich. I put it on a four port 13B and it ran just right according to the exhaust temp. Now, I am now putting in a S4 6 port in and I hope the will run well with that one too.
