Stock alternator?

This is probably a dumb question, but my car has a mitsubishi alternator. Im pretty sure its stock, but i gues it could be a swap.

AFAIK, Mazda sourced the stock alternators from Mitsubishi. Igniters, too.

the ecu cover-plate also has a fat mitsubishi symbol stamped on it.

mitsubishi makes everything from household electronics to turbochargers. I'm suprised that they don't have their own line of fast food restaurants
