Still have power loss on 85 Rx7

Ok, I'm still getting power loss on my Rx7 and I'm starting a new thread to get some fresh ideas. Let's start from the top

I've got a 1st gen 1985 Rx_7 13b Fuel Injected (No Carb) engine GSL-SE

Problem: Losing power at about 2,000 rpm after the engine is warmed and put on street (barely makes it back home most of the times I take it out)

What was done before I got car:
New Fuel Pump and Filter (it was leaking a little but we tightned all the clamps)

What we've done since:
New NGK plugs (#BR8EQ-14 the wires looked perfectly fine and uncoroded/silver so I left them in)
Fuel Injector Cleaner in a full tank of 93+ gas
New Air Filter
Removed Exhost Entirely (didn't help)

I was told to try switching the leading and trailing ignitors and that if the trailing was bad, the tach wouldn't work but motor would run with more power...didn't work. Motor still ran under powered and tach worked fine, plus wires around ignitors were uncoroded.

After driving it around I left it in neutral and reved it to 5,000 at which point it stalled and died and we checked all the plugs...none of which were wet at all.

I'm running out of options. I think it's igniting fine.

One more thing. Where is the stupid Air Flow meter! I can't find a single picture of it in the Hayne's manual! Could someone post a picture with a big arrow point to it? Please?

Ok, sorry for all the trouble guys. Any help is appericated.

mroe info

oh BTW, Fuel pump was E8000, made in china, max psi 95, 12 volts, not sure of brand. The previous owner put this on, is it the right pump? Also there are two lines up near the gas tank/fuel pump not connected to anything. Are these just vents? They go into a little white distributor looking thingy.

Thanks
Sumit

You might have a clogged cat.

Did you verify the leading coil is firing? Just pull the plug wire running from the coil to the distributor and see if you get spark.

How is the timing? I would check it also.

Good luck.
