Steering Wheel

I took the steering wheel of an 84 to replace the gauge cluster - and now i am having problems getting the wheel back on

any advice on how to get it back on?

Do not hammer on the steering wheel, you might shear the pin in the column. Clean the shaft end and the wheel and line it up properly. Beating on **** is usually the WRONG answer. If you get the wheel to start on, you can draw it down with the nut.

^ yup i had probs getting mine on, just lined it up best i could then tightened down the nut, its on fine now .
