You need the 6 bolt hub.

just a 6 bolt hub/adapter?

auto zone have them? or would one off ebay be better, or does it really mater?

it don't matter. you can get the at any auto parts store for 19.99

i have a momo corsa (6 bolt) on my rx and it is hard to find the hubs at auto parts stores. I finally had to break done and buy a momo hub, because the one at the auto parts stores would not fit.

i got a "boss" hub off ebay and it works fine with my aftermarket steering wheel

you just get the one for the 2nd gen. the first gen miata is the same too.
