Steering box swap with anything??

My dad has a low milage 84 b2200 pick up on our farm and it has NO steering box play where my 84 Rx-7 has ALOT. I've looked at the box but it doesn't appear to be exactly the same but very similar in size and shape. Anyone tried this or heard of it or think it would be possible?

I posted an edited (fixed) version of a popular steering box tightening technique. It's in this forum... somewhere. Please search.

I have read it thanks, and i have searched, never found anything related to a b2200 pickup that actually went anywhere. I was just wondering since I have one sitting here if anyone took it any farther.
