Stationary Headlights

Black Dragon lists the same headlight for 79-92 RX7s. I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this but when I searched I didn't find threads that related. Could an aftermarket flush mount light assembly from a 2G be adapted to fit the 1G without too much trouble? From what I understand, the only people who produced a flush mount headlight for the 1G cars was CP Racing and not only are those hard to find but they aren't the best quality. Is anything new coming out like this lately?

but why? I don't like the way flush mounts look on our cars. and they wouldn't do the job of lighting the road as well i would think. but you would have to modify and make it your self.

pop ups are t3h s3x

and I'm pretty sure it will not work because the dragon lists the housings themselves as the same. thousands of cars use 7" round housings. the actual body contours and mounting and mechanisms are different.

the headlight socket might list as the same... that doesn't mean the headlight bucket, lid, lifting mechanism, hinge, hinge attach point, etc. is. They're vastly different between gens.

In all honesty that looks super dorky because remember halo's on a BMW or charger might look good because they are only like 3-4" and have pairs on each side, that is 7" and only 2...but it would be interesting to see.
