^that's what i was thinking lol, but i didn't wanna be mean, if you just want stronger spark, use the search option and look for 2gdfis, or different **** like that, but that question is just blank, we need to know more about your car.

not really that it doesnt start it just takes some gas pumping/choke to get it going for the first time for the day but after that it starts up pretty well

I just thought maybe there are some tricks with the car or something

Fuel injection would take care of those problems.

I hate to tell you this, but there's a reason it's hard to get started. Either carb issues, ignition issues, or compression issues.
Mine can sit for more than a week, and simply turning the key to start, it'll fire up in less than 2 seconds, 99% of the time. Occasionally, it takes 3 seconds......

I'd suggest starting out by checking the carb. They can drip fuel into the engine after it has been shut off, and the longer they sit, the harder it is to start.
I'd be willing to bet 90% (or more) of your problem is carb related.

Is there white smoke from the exhaust once it starts? Any mysterious coolant loss?

That's good news. I have cold starting issues as well but it's a slow coolant leak - thus after a day of sitting it takes a bit to push out the coolant out of the engine to get a good start.

Good luck.

Here is whats happening it wont stay idle for more then 10 sec the first time it starts up but after it warms up it can go idle for quite some time
So is that a sign that there is a problem with th carburetor?

pull the choke let it idle for a couple of seconds at about 4000 then slowly push in the coke and let it idle at 1500 till it warms up the choke should pull itself in after is reached normal operating temp if this doesn't make it easier than you have carb problems most likely

wow i wish mine did that, it was really bad i'd have to pump gas into it at any start due to vacuum leak but fixed that and now i pull the choke out and first start takes about maybe 5 secs start sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less...any start after that it's normally even faster than most f.I. cars lol.

Choke? I rarely ever use the choke. It works fine, but I never seem to need it.

I have the same exact problems the first start up of the day takes forever, and i'm thinking it's the carb, pretty much everything else in the car is rebuilt or new, except for the carb, so once i get a new one or rebuild the existing it should start up good. Like others have already said it's most likely a carb problem.
