When i Turn the key from lock to on there is this ticking noise which i think drains the battery so i unhooked my battery cable. when i try to start it, it trys to start but it wont. Then afterwards there was smoke coming out of the exhaust.

 

I have the exact same problem, the clicking noice is the air (donīt know whats it is called i eng.) something under the air filter. Starter motor i turning and everything else is looking fine, after about 5-10 sec of running the starter motor it starts smelling like pertol. Im thinking, there is no power for the sparkplugs.
Anyone now what is causing this
