Standalone on an N/A?
Standalone on an N/A?
Hey all... Just a random question, and yes I have searched...
I know that the "flapper door" is teh limiting factor for a standard gsl-se, so I was wondering if anyone has gone to a standalone ECU (Microtech) on an N/A car? Yes I know that going carb woudl be the *simplier* and cheaper thing to do, but eventually I'll have a turbo setup anyway... sooo.. I can just use that there too
I know soem locally are running the MegaSquirt fuel controllers on the stock -SE stuff, but I dunno if anyone has gone full standalone?
Any odd complications to worry about here? I did a pretty extensive search, but all of the info I've come up with relates to people going standalone on turbo cars retrofitted w/ 2nd gen drivelines. Anyone have any extra hints for an N/A project?
thanks!
Eric
