Shifting troubles in one gear

Ok i am beside myself on this i have a 82 rx 7 and it is hard to downshift from 4th to 3rd i cannot tell if clutch fuid is full as it is not visible and has a cover under its cap ..... would appreciate any help on this ..plus another problem i have is going into reverse sometimes i have no problem sometimes i have to grind it in .

The clutch reservoir is clearly visable. If it is dark in color, change it. Just unscrew the lid and look at it. Try bleeding the clutch first. Then, if that does not work, you may need a slave/ or master cylinder. You can buy them new, or purchse rebuild kits from Mazdatrix.

Ok well i bled the lines and it helped out but now having another problem ...... i suddenly lost some power thru hills ( 15 mph) and am having some backfire i switched the plug wires around and that helped some but it still does it not as bad though.

could have bad plugs at that make sure you have the plugs on right. change your fuel filter too.

cool ill try that when i bought these plugs they said they would run at least 40k lol and i dont drive that much to do that .
