Stainless Steel Brake Lines For S2 S/GS

Does anyone make these? It looks like Mazdatrix sells these for every model but the S2 models with drum brakes. Would the S3 lines work on my car? How hard would it be to make my own. I know nothing about this, but I'm competent enough to learn.

Also please do not say just upgrade to GSL rear-end, I'm thrilled for the most part with the stock braking performance, but I'm not in love with the spongey feeling I get sometimes.

weird. the rear hose is the same 81-85, but the FRONT hoses have a different part number from 81-83 and 84-85. not sure what the difference actually IS though, calipers are the same, fitting on the body end is the same, maybe they moved the clip on the strut or something like that?

so there are three options.

1. call em and ask!
2. buy the 81-83 kit and don't use the rear lines
3. buy the 84-85 kit and hope it fits
4. buy the 81-83 kit, don't use the rear and make your own line for the rear

Sounds like you need to shop other places. Techna-fit makes exactly what you're asking for. Part number MA-1380.

I've had a set of the rear disc ones on my car for about 2 years. They fit correctly and are DOT approved.
