Like I mentioned, the dual pulley just isn't worth the money when a $15 belt does the job just fine.

The advantage of dual belt set up over a single beLt is the peace of mind. You cant break 2 belts at once.

if the yoohoo belt goes from main pulley to water pump pulley, it is like 2 belts as well, isn't it? one goes alt-main-water and one main-water.

sounds good Mel but I'm not 100% I'll make it, car might be in the shop that day! got the belt thing to resolve, temp sensor to install, accelerator pump to replace, and a brake caliper to handle. Since the car is my daily driver, weekends is prime time for scheduled repairs! Plus there is a junkyard run scheduled for Sat morning - 5 FBs to see and 1/2 price blowout! trying to find a front mounted oil cooler to get rid of the pesky leaking beehive.

On the other hand I'd love to go to the R&D. So we'll see.

NP. Good luck in your junkyard run. I will check if I have an extra FB oil cooler but I know I have the stock hoses if you need them. Ttry to find the pre-83 heater hoses and hard lines. The hard lines Im referring to comes in from the lower radiator hose to the firewall. If you're going to do the upgrade, then may as well change that too. otherwise, you will have to block off the extra stuff.
Also, since you have the tall radiator, maybe you should just use a 86+ oil cooler as the GSL-SE are hard to come by. If you decide to go that route, I can get the hoses done for ya.
