Sprung a leak

whats up homies allright so I just put new bearings in my gsl-se rearend, and about 4 days after i notice on the inner of my left rim some oil thats just gotten all over the inside now. I just shat myself. I know its not a brake leak, this is comeing from the diff i''m pretty sure. What the hell is this sh%t. just put the whole car together.

My question is what you think i should do about the leak from the diff. should i rebuild the whole thing and have a nice brand new lsd and seals and (bearings (againg)) or just seals or can i just replace the seals.

I thought maybe i could get a ford rearend but then i'm going to have change the drive shaft that i just custome made for the car.

let me know if you guys have any suggestions. i'm running an s5 turbo engine and tranny.

Well, I'm not your homie...Iowans aren't homies, but I would bet it's just the seal in the outboard end of the axle housing.

And you really shouldn't shat yourself...it's not fun

Yes, I have the same issue right now. It is the axle seal. I have no idea how hard it is to replace it, I'm holding out for a LSD swap myself...

I didn't replace the seals when I did my LSD swap, but once I got everything done, I kind of wish I had...it looked like it would be quite easy.

Jeez, that hurts...I can't be a homie?? Oh well, I guess I'll live. Anyway, I thought I gave you a pretty good answer...if it isn't good enough, that's the way it goes...good luck with the homies...maybe they can give you a better answer.
