springs..which ones "don't" lower the car
Short of getting Mazda springs, anyone know what springs "will not" lower the car height?? I want to stay stock with this car and "not" lower it....yeah , I know, most of you want it lowered but not me... I like it stock looking ...thanks...cjf
Lowering springs will probably raise the car up a bit, since the original springs will have sagged by now. (Unless your car has zero miles on it and was stored on jackstands for the past 17-24 years

I dont know of any aftermarket springs that wont drop your car.
I got some new Mazda springs last year, and they are plenty stiff with some performance shocks...

lowering a first gen can pose some problems, that's probably why he doesn't want to do it.. the rear end setup is just kinda jiggidy unless you change to an even-length watts linkage or some other setup.. binding, what not.. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about, I just don't have the words for it.

Dont be surprised if the stock Mazda springs raise your car waaaaay too much though. I thought I wanted the "stock" look too but when I swapped out my old springs for some new stock springs I was amazed just how high the car was "supposed" to sit...
heh.. my race car is beyond lowered.. I can't get a regular jack under it, matter of fact, I can't even get one of those screw jacks that come with my Civic under it on the unibody rail to lift it by.. and that jack is like 3" maybe when fully compressed.. heh
