I tried using the AutoLite parts finder for a 1985 RX-7. They don't list the RX-7.

Yes, but the corporation that owns RX7club.com (and about 100 other online forums) doesn't give a flip about RX7's or their owners. So they will sell advertising space to anyone with the money. If they own a Tesla Forum they probably run the same sparkplug add.

I would never run AutoLites in any rotary engine, but found it ironic enough to post.

Autolite spark plugs in any car are a mistake.

Beware especially of their so called "rebates".

By the time you have filled out all the forms and stuffed an envelope full of spark plug boxes and then waited 3 months you will have wished you'd never heard of Autolite.

I got lucky the other day, rockauto had a wholesale close out on RX-7 stuff and sure enough there were 18 NKG's listed for $1.90 each.

I bought 16.

I use the rx8 plugs, they last much longer but require a very good ignition system.

I tried autolite plugs when I was sorting out the rebuilt engine exchange. The autolites while costing much less didn't work very well. Improvement was obvious when I used NKG's.
