Spoiler Choices
Ive already searched the forum and found many rap around spoilers and yes i do agree that they are one of the nicest i have seen, yet im kinda disapointed that i dont see more gap style spoilers. I know they can be a little rice, yet they arent as bad as the aluminum katana wing ones. The srt4 one is a little big, the supra one is awsome yet kinda hard to find, and the tiburon one is actually about the right height and the perfect width so that it wont interfere with the hatch glass opening.
I actually like this style here, but im still looking.

I personally think 1st gens look good with a lip spoiler. All of the other ones that lifts up like the picture shown dont really seem to fit the body style. But if you are able to do it and it turns out that it looks freaking sexy, let us know... or let me know at least..

^ ive thought about putting one of those on.

i like that style as well. very similar, if not the same, as the newest JDM FD wing. a very nice wing. BUT there is a major problem when wanting to use that with an SA/FB. the FD has a flat mounting surface for a wing so this wing sits at a very nice stance. the FB/SA has a curved surface where the wing mounts. this will cause there to be mounting issues as well as a VERY high risk of it looking like crap due to the angle. you could modify the wing/body to make it mount flush, but i see this being rather extensive.
i myself prefer the style as shown above, the GTU wing from a 2nd gen, or a nice whale tail.

This is the Whale Tail I was going to install!
The Body Shop wanted $1000.00 to Intsall it so that it blended into the Sides and Paint it with Akzo Nobel Paint.
This is the same shop that I used to do the Rear Wrap and Side Skirts.
I traded a forum member this Whale Tail for the 1 Piece you see in the above Pic's.
Ended up costing me about the same and I Helped.
If I would have to Chose agian. I would have Stayed with the Small Whale Tail.

Yeah i know there is a problem to find a spoiler that will mount to the surface of the fb's rear end because it slopes down, like mentioned above, it will tilt the spoiler back and make it look like ****. Now if i can get one from the tiburon *see above picture* it actually slopes down quite alot too. After i sourced one i could just sand and paint the spoiler untill the curves matched the back of the SA/FB to bring the spoiler to the correct angle. As for mounting, if the plastic inserts werent in good condition on the inside of the spoiler uprights after sanding, i would cut them out and replace them with jb welded aluminum inserts that also moulded to the body of the car, yet they would sit inside the spoiler just far enough so i could cut two rubber bushings to sit inside so the spoiler wouldnt crack or rattle due to wind resistance. I believe the correct measurement is 44 inches or so, i would have to measure the tiburon spoiler again and see, but the last time i measured, the legs would sit two to three inches on either side of the glass and run up about 5 inches on either side because of the spoiler style. If i can do this mod il do a right-up in case anyone wants one.
It might be a month or some before i source one but i am planning on going through with this. I gotta fix my mirror and the dent in the side of my car first.

Sourced a tiburon spoiler on ebay, one stock, one custom. Either way the are both prety nice and both i believe will fit with little modding.

i dont really like those rubber whale tales, although i do like the whale tale from the second picture i just posted, Nicely formed, large but not too large.
I like me women like my spoilers, sleek, built, large but, not too large, and not too flashy.

The first one wont look right, the second one would still look good i think. I am planning on doing a widebody later on, so maybe the spoiler is a good start haha.
