Speed Bleeders

Just put in a new set of Russell speed bleeders. The whole project only took a half hour to do. WOW!!! I must of had air in the system, but most likely it was just old fluid. I pumped all the old stuff out using the right rear so as to flush it. These things are the best. about 12" of tubing, a mulk jug and a 8mm wrench is all that is needed. Put in some nice synthetic brake fluid, it is so tight now.

A friend of mine has recently installed these, he's an industrial engineer, not a genius, but pretty smart (just schooling, book smarts). He flushes his brake/clutch fluid once a year to purge the moisture laden...fluid, possibly preventing early brake/clutch cylinder failure.

^^^hey those things are great. I was working to get the brakes bled on my 63 comet and could not for the life of me do it. And that was with another person helping out. I was down at the local automotive store and decided what the hell and gave it a shot. It took me 10 mins to do the whole thing. Oh yeah and that was by myself. To say the least I am a speed bleed fanatic!
