Source for Shift **** For '79
I've done some searching, both here on the forum and on the internet in general and have not been able to find a source for a shift **** for my '79 (it's a different thread size than my '85). I'd like to find the original ****, or something similar to it. I'm going to try my local Mazda dealer later on...anybody have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Rich

Only slightly off subject, but on my way into work this morning I saw a 79 for sale, $750 cash. This is a running car on a used car dealer's lot. So I stopped and looked it over, needs a bit of work but could be a deal, only 91,000 on the odometer. If it was an 84-85 I'd ****** it up for parts.
Jefferson Georgia, if anyone is interested I'll get the details, including if the shift **** is good (I believe so, the interior wasn't that bad for a 27 year old car).

79-80 shift ***** on ebay
The ebay auction above is a reputable seller. I purchased a shift **** for my 79 along with the panels that cover the edge of the dash(sent me 2 to make sure I got one that fit the 79) and a front grill from him. You see way to many RX-7 parts sellers that don't realize how different the SAs are from the FBs.
