Japaneese Domestic Market... Basically J-Spec...

They build really cool cars over there in Japan... Upon importing, the DOT has to bitch and whine about safety standards and people speeding and killing themselves and **** like that... So the Car maunfacturers release shitty US-Spec cars, weighted down with structural reinforcements, restricted with emissions equipment, and usually detuned to some degree. Upgrading to the Japaneese parts usually has some merit.

True, at least for a few things, but more often than not, having JDM parts is more of a status symbol than a performance improvement

 

Denny's doing good. I was just at his house with Nlc1179 a few weeks ago. He's got his GSL-SE and one of his sons is doing a lot of work upgrading his 10th AE. Plus he has at least 2 other 7's and an old MG. He also finished adding onto his garage, it's nice and big now I don't know why he hasn't been on the forum lately though.
