It's morbid, but I found it amusing, though, maybe that's not a great thing to do to ppl on a automotive forum, where we generally like to drive fast cars ...fast.

So the Car maunfacturers release shitty US-Spec cars, weighted down with structural reinforcements, restricted with emissions equipment, and usually detuned to some degree. Upgrading to the Japaneese parts usually has some merit.
