OK I've got the rear rotor firing up, but nothing on the front rotor. I checked compression, same on both psh psh psh. But nothing on the front rotor to kick it over someone help me please. Also I broke the interior mirror last night and it's there but it's shaking around and everything. A Tv hit it. Really no lie got a 27 inch tv and it flung into it around a turn. IS there a quick and easy way I can fix this?

Please help me I can't live without my car.

OK, let's assume you got rid of the TV, which should fix the interior mirror problems. Now, if your front rotar isn't firing, check the ignition (spark, that kind of stuff). If it's firing, but the front rotar isn't kicking over, then try to find another 7, you can get a good one for less than $1000. Actually, I got an 85 that got its nose bent....

it starts up but sounds like only one rotor is on and it's flooding out you know that noise

 

Check the ignition. Swap ignitors and see if you get the same condition.

 

it's not flooding out that I know of

 

You need to go over all the stuff, you know, is it getting spark, is it getting gas. Compression's OK, so it's got to be something easy. Mine was doing this last week, now it's running like a bat out of hell. You just got to figure out what's wrong.

front rotor blown I'm so depresssed right now. Now I gotta rip the engine out and rebuild it. Anyone know of a cheap site I can get a rebuild kit for 77 4-port?

 

I think first thing is find out what parts your gonna need. rip it out and bust it down....you might find it's too far gone and have to get a 13B for it now.

 

I doubt it man, the way it went first it sounded like a v8 driving down the road then about 1/2 from my house it sounded like one rotor and has never ran right again

 

if you have even compression, the rotor is not necessarily bad or blown. are yo sure you have spark? are you sure the compression sounds the same? with the mirror, take off the lens. there should be 2 or 3 (i cant remember off the top of my head) clips that hold the mirror to the plastic light body. should just snap right back in.

 

Psht psht psht same on both rotors. But the spark plugs are covered in oil when I take them out after trying to start it up. I have spark checked both, even the cap is completely shot though lol. The points on the cap are broken and snaping and bent but there is still spark, we even swapped caps from my friend's car and rotor. Oil is being pushed back out through the carb apparentally and my friend said thats a sign of a blown rotor. I've got spark fuel and doesn't kick over. It sounded like a v8 before all this happened and didn't notice any lose in power just a muscle car sound.
