some widebody teardown and hopefully rebuild

so...the story is...i lost a rotor a good month or so ago...and the car has been sitting for...a good month. and since no one wanted it for the price i was asking i decided to keep the car...yeah...so now i'm stripping it out, hopefully to get it media blasted sometime in the near future...new motor options are undecided as i don't have the cash, but i have thought about keeping a 12a, move to 13b or even a v8...but that is still undecided... ok so the car is an 82 gs that has a widebody kit from what i believe cpracing sold years ago, i come to that conclusion because there are others on this forum who have the same kit from cpracing plus the other cpracing products found on this car... the reason i decided to post progress was because:

1. for me, its awesome to read what other people are doing since it gives inspiration
2. i could ask questions
and
3. i get feedback from other members

so yea, so far i've only started taking out the interior and i'll be doing that until all of the interior is stripped, so yea...i guess that concludes the first post...oh and since i just pulled the interior out, feel free to ask any questions about dismantling the interior as it is still fresh in my mind.

i had to toss in the pic of the stool....cause i actually left the seat out...and had to drive it back into the garage like that...felt like i was driving a truck with my head out the roof lol. the two pics of the gas door are for dan_s_young...so there they are....its held on by velcro...haha

Who care about the interior, j/k lol. I want to see pics of the body kit. Too bad the installer hacked the fuel fill set up like that.

Very interesting stuff, thanks for the fuel door pictures. I have to agree though its a shame that the person hacked the fuel filler like that.

But your project looks like exactly what I started with for my car. Black car, CP racing widebody and old red interior.
