Some widebody project update pictures! 56K warning, tons of pics!

Hey guys,
I have been making alot of progress on my car, there is still a long ways to go, but alot is getting done. Heres some pictures of what its looking like: (note the tires aren't on rims yet, just have them sitting in the wheel well to get an idea of what they are going to look like)

The, for the time being motor, my old 12a...

Sorry I uploaded so many pictures, im just happy to see that its coming together.

Does anyone have any advice for getting the old quater windows out of my old car though? I have been using heavy duty wire and 2 sets of plyers working back and forth, but the corners are impossible to get into...

The plan for the future of this car is a TII engine build (coming as soon as I can afford it), but first I need to save up for some CCW's...

Thanks for looking!

I bought it as a rolling chassis, all the body work was done professionally than the guy decided to go back to school and he had to sell his car. The car had been sitting for a few years, so I picked it up and am nursing it back to heath with a new interior, engine, exhaust, suspension, pretty much everything... But the same body kit can be purchased through VB which apparently now has a new name... (black dragon auto)

Haha true, I just took lots of pictures of the rear because I can't get very good pictures of the front (not enough room), and I was excited that I finally got the Powerpulse muffler mounted. The rear is also on jackstands so I could also fit the 315's in to take a few pictures to see what im in for once I get the $ for the CCW's. I will have to take some better pictures of the front in the future, but I really need to get the thing out of the garage!

And people wonder why I went matte black on my paint, now you know. Tires fill the back end out nicely.

how is the fit and finish on the VB widebody? I'm making a list of parts for my widebody project, and i'm debating between the VB or the CP Racing kit. I've heard bad things about the fit and finish of the CP Racing kit, how it looks like they are using a worn out mold, and how their customer service is terrible, which is why i'm looking at the VB kit.

Its just the angle of the picture (the car has been waxed a few times to...). Here is a better picture to give you an idea.

As far as the fit and finish of this kit goes I couldn't tell you too much, as I did not do the body work. I bought the car as a rolling chassis and I plan on finishing this car and making it make some good rotary horsepower. As far as I have seen though, the body kit is very decent, I couldn't tell you how much was changed with body work, but on my car it looks decent. There is flaws, but this is a street car/auto-x/weekend racer, and unless you pay like 10k for a paint job and stuff there is going to be flaws. With the extent of body work done to this car, the flaws are very minor. (ie. cracking where the spoiler meets the driver side fender) But I am pretty sure CPracing does not sell this kit anymore and only VB sells it? I could be wrong about that though.

Anyways thanks everyone for the positive comments, I should get some more pictures as this thing starts coming together. Dash went in yesterday, and I half assed aligned the hood and hooked up the latch and everything for it.

Thats a weber 45dcoe, its just a "for the time being" setup though. I plan on a T-II swap and running a microtech in the future, but that will come with time and my new job... I have big plans and not a ton of money at the moment, so its going to be a on going project.

More pictures, I rolled the car out yesterday and took a couple shots of the front. The car looks really goofy at the moment without the proper rims, but it should look mean with the CCW's and the huge tires!
