100hp at the flywheel. I remember seeing a dynosheet of someone with full RB exhuast and so AM intake and still didn't break 100whp.
Need that port grinding cat to break 100whp or a snail.

It is a great looking FD though. I guess this means I'll have to start traveling to the third gen section more often to view its progression though.

yeah seriously though. !Pushrods! what is a new ls1 these days anyway. like 9k? I think a 20b is much more economical.
100hp and 2400lbs
250hp and 2850lbs-ish?
Im probably going to get flamed for saying this but. The FD was really a bigger miata coupe. I know, i know ones a purpose built convertable, the other is a GT coupe. But the drivetrain, suspension and steering are nearly identical. Just scalled up for the FD.
I was going to make a point. but, now i forgot what it was. oh well...... maybe ill remember.

Your brother's hair is almost as long as mine was when I shaved my hair off three years ago. Yes. I went from extremely long hair, to razor shaved in one night. Now its grown out, but about to be shaved again.

If'n you got no use for those sweet wheels on the picture you posted (though I imagine you sold them with the car), I'd take them off your hands.
That car's pretty much what mine hopes to grow up and be, maybe minus the rubber moldings, but just because some of them are already missing. :p

What a ranker. I bet the FD comes with an attitude also.
Well, good luck to you. Be safe @ the track this weekend.

Just wanted to say that I probably won't be around this 1st gen section as much as I was, but if anyone is looking for me or 1st gen wheels or have any questions you can still PM me

Imo
FB/SA=
FD=
FC=
dont get me wrong. i like them all. it just seems the FC scene has become majorly infested with ricers/jackasses. i dont like S4s at all, but a nice clean S5 is hot. i plan on owning all 3 gens though eventually, but for now ill stick with the best, FB and SA although FDs are what initially brought me to rx7s until i laid my eyes on my first 1st gen....and bought it.
**disclaimer**
all the above statements are nothing more than my opinion. if ive offended anyone or you dont agree with me.........then you have the right to go f#ck yoursefl jk **all in good fun**

And don't become one of those FD owners with the whole "I'm better than you because I drive an FD" attitudes. Remember your roots. lol

Nice FD man. Definetly did it the right way. A roller and building it yourself, the way you want, is how it should be done. Also, you can fix anything that needs it while it's "down" in your garage.
I don't judge a car by the people that drive them.
As far as the whole Rx7 generation goes.
I truely do like all 3 generations of rx7's, Rx2's, 3's, 4's and even the old school cosmo's that were in the U.S. for like 3 years. The FB's are very sweet for the money. THey are the lightest, cheapest and the best styled for the price. It's all about preference but sometimes our wallet size is the weighing factor.
Good luck
