So Who Has Polish Trimming??
Just wondering who has polished trimmings around their windshield and love it!
Also, where the hell can I get these pieces? Part of mine torn off during highway driving!! Anyone selling?

After I read the subject, I had to click... I was wondering what you meant by Polish trimming.
Someday I need to make the special tool to take the trim off so I can repaint it. It only looks good polished if the car is a dark color like black or deep red or dark blue. Maybe some forms of green. Definitely not silver or white, though.

go to a pick n pull junk yard ...you might have to work over 3-4 cars before you can assemble a decent set, and some may require repolishing.
I probably bent as much as I salvaged figuring out the nuances of removing the trim...but better on their wrecks for free than my GSL-SEs at cost.
Now I am pretty good at it.
Given the RX-7 has plastic covered painted bumpers and black plastic side trim...I think chrome just plain looks wrong on it (my personal taste)...it needs to be black to match the corner trim on the quarter windows, the door handles and the side trim. On other cars, chrome looks fine.
FWIW, that is why I also think metal/silver/chrome/brushed metal rims don't quite look right either...but they are better than the window trim.

Nothing that a 600 grit and 800 grit sand paper can't remove with a bit of buffering and hours of polishing. I thought these trimmings were rare. Oh well.

Confucius was born in a poor family in the year 551 B.C., and he was born in the state of Lu. His original name was K'ung Fu Tzu. His father, commander of a district in Lu, died three years after Confucius was born, leaving the family in poverty; but Confucius nevertheless received a fine education. He was married at the age of 19 and had one son and two daughters. I canīt believe you really read all this.

I've got some aftermarket 3rd Reich trim on mine. You know the ****'s and the Japanese started designing the Rx7 during the war...
