So I got to thinking...
There's a place that fixes rims... They do such a good job, you can't tell they were ever damaged at all... And I mean serious damage, not just minor scratches.
So, for those people who want aftermarket wheels, but are cursed with the 4 x 110 bolt pattern, why not buy whichever wheels you want, send them to this place, have them fill in the current holes, and then redrill 'em to 4 x 110? Sure, it's pricey, but hey, then you could have any wheels you want. Getting them filled and redrilled would be about the same price as spacers.

www.fixrim.com Look at their before and after pics... They seem to do really good work.
Wow some of those rims are pretty bent up. I was really impressed with the 2nd before/after one.
The only questions I have are:
structurally would the wheels be sound. I know that this would have to be taken on a case by case basis. But whenever you reattach metal there is a chance that the bond will not be quite as good if the surfaces are not cleaned adequatley. Unfortunatley the rim has to be a little dirty unless they are not exposing it to air. We all know that air+pure metal oxidizes instantly. But hey if they warranty it for life...
and would they re-drill the holes. I did not find a spot on their site that said they would do so. Did I miss something?
Great find...

Wouldn't filled in holes be done with welding? A welded joint is generally stronger than the base metal if done right.
