pmartin,
56 now that is gettin' up there! Wish I had had an RX when I was 38. Just got my first fb this year. Kind of a birthday present to me. Time to semi retire the vintage 4 cylinder cycle I have been riding for many years.
I am not 55 - just 19 with a hell of a lot of experience!!!
From the posts above looks like we are holding 1st & 2nd place in the geezer run

Hey Bob, that brings me to another question. How many women have you had, I mean total, in your 50+ years? I mean, what's the standard, I'm trying to figure if I'm doing alright. I mean, I got a chick magnet and all this experience but I'm wondering if 30 is a good number or what. You other geezers, what's a good number?

I`am 22 and have had my Series 2 Rx7 for 2years.
Before that i had a `76 Capella Rs Coupe.

I'm 38, and I fell in love with the RX-7 when my dad took me with him to buy an AMC Matador wagon back in '79. That dealership sold AMCs and Mazdas. There was a red RX in the middle of the showroom floor, and I couldn't take my eyes off it.
Flash forward to 1983 -- I was a senior in High School, and my girlfriend's mom (who was hot) had an RX-7. Sometimes my girlfriend would pick me up in it. I had a Celica -- I liked her mom and her car much better than mine.
Flash forward to 1988 -- I still had the Celica and wanted more HP. I was in the Air Force and a guy in Denver convinced me that a Mazda 13B was the way to get more power. He installed a '76 Rotary Pickup motor in my Celica, and I've loved rotaries ever since. My favorite night was when I smoked a guy and his girlfriend in his Porsche 944 in my Toyota Celica, with four of my AF buddies in the car.
Porsche Driver: "Whattaya have in that thing?"
Me: "A 1.3 Liter!"
Porsche Driver: Bewildered look.
My Buddies: Gaffawing.
The motor ended up in an '84 GSL-SE where it resides today. The car is red, of course -- just like the one I fell in love with back in '79.

50 years young
I'm 50 and got my first RX-7 1st Gen 6 months. At 50 i figure I have another 10 years before I reach my prime. Have an 85, original minus the smog garbage. Just successfully rebuilt the Nikki, runs good for stock with a 2nd gear scratch. All original paint.
