Well, I guess I'm in 'early geezerdom' compared to a few of you guys. I'll be 46 this year.
This is my second RX7 go 'round; I had an '82 GS several years ago, and wish I still had it! I raced dirt bikes for years, got tired of bruises etc., about two years ago I switched to autocross with an eye to Solo I and IT racing. I currently have a '79, an '81 GSL, and an '84 GS.
By the way, congrats for jump starting a two year old thread. I think that's a record!

Bob:
You got me all mixed up now, but that's easy to do these days!
You said:
"I think I may be the oldest old fart on the forum at 73"
Then I said I was 74.
Now you tell me you've got me beat by 8 or 9 years which would make you 82 or 83 - is that it?
So you're 83-ish and not only that but it's chiselled in stone?????
If so, congrats from rainy Wales!
What does THC mean?

To: Bob Holton,
Way to go on the 8-9 years older. We old guys can still have fun also. Ha, Ha!! Could not believe it, a bunch of young gals rolled up beside me the other day and waved. You should have seen the look on their faces when they saw the OLD Guy!!
Best regards,
THC

I'm 17 here, going on 18 in july. I bought My 83 GS when i was 16 years old, back in september 2002. In 2003, i put a GSL-SE engine in it, with my dellorto 48mm carb .. so this is a pretty fast little car and fun to drive.

RE: age
It Is Good To See All ages Of People With A Passion For the RX-7 And The Rotary Engine, And I Am 18. My First Car Was An RX-7. It Was A 1980 That I Bought For Fifty Dollars. My Second Car Was A 1983 GSL RX-7. And the Car I Drive Right Now is A 1984 GS. Really Good Shape. I Love It!
And As For The "REPU's Get The Chicks" Statement. I Must Disagree. My Ex Girlfriend Loved My RX-7's. And With A Decent Header And A Nice Paint Job, These Cars Can turn Heads.

Hi Bob,
Yep ! We're doing OK. It's just a case of hanging in there for as long as possible. Thanks for the interesting email, good to hear from/about you.
