Snow!!!

Holy crap. This is the first time I've driven my 7 in the snow. Lets see I open the choke and revs at 3k. I shift into gear with choke open wheels spin. Hmmmm....my tires are crap, they have no thread and are dry rotten. BUT the good side to that is that there are lots of parking lots that I can slide in. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Yeah it's snowing here to. My tires are spinning and I have good tires. I don't like driving the first gen in the snow. I feel like either I'm going to slide into someone, or someone is going to hit me.

Be carefull,
Mike

If you're not concerned with rust, take it to an open parking lot. One that doesnt have many light poles or any of those little bump stops at the ends of the spaces.

Then just ler her rip.

You get really in tune with the car and know how much it can take before sliding.

Saved my *** once. Some idiot was coming at me on my side of the road, speedind in his beat up Accord around a curve. I coulda hit him head on or slid into the curb. I chose the curb and bent my front control arm. Better than being dead.

I'll clip his mirror this year, since I'm driving the Honda.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, I have Price Chopper near my house (2 min walk). With not bump stop things and no light poles. Maybe it will help me out too. The only problem is that there is a police station right across the street. :P

I'm currently driving my car although it was in storage November to mid December. It is the greatest in parking lots and what I do is just give it a real good wash afterwards to prevent rust. Also my car has mudflaps on it and that stops 95% of the snow/salt from going into my weel well. Were they standard equipment?

Back when I was 14 or 15 I used to take my bro's chevy caprise out to the factories parking lot across the street and learned the basic's for winter drift and other fun manivours. I also learned the fine art of E-braking a front wheel drive car. LOL Now when I drive my 1st gen around in the winter its boring because I've done it before, but I am sure you southern boys can't get enough of it....yet..and luckily you never do. Now I really hate ice because the bridgeport doesn't mix with ice/snow.
