Smoked a 89 NA Supra

Hey guys i was coming down 183 in Austin when i pull uo next to a supra. my windows are down so i ask if he wants to run. He asks if im boosted. im say no, so i ask if he is. he says no. Light turns green we go. I fucked up and missed second by a long shot. Really embarrased. so we try again only this time on the upper deck of I35 which is like 2 miles long, and we do a 40 punch. i f**kin yanked him by about 3 car lenths. it was nice to now that my car has some pretty good get up and go. Thank the Lord for RX-7's.

Nice run man. I had a MA70, always felt it is faster than my 12a. Couldn't wait to get some serious tune up next month.

What model 85 do you have? Is it a GSL-SE? Those supra's are quite heavy for their size. I think they weigh in at over 3000lbs.

I can vouch for that i raced my friends 87 NA Supra from a stop, I thought that it would beat me so i was actually trying to launch good, but when i got to the top of first and he was already at my rear bumper i had to let off, I got up to the middle of third just staying beside him then decided to take off and i completely smoked him. he is a bad driver but i thought they were faster than that, i guess it's the weight. him with 200hp and 3400lbs or around that do'nt really know for sure, me with 110hp and 2300 it was fun. and dang they're first gear is insanly low he shifted to second when i was at 4000. crazy gearing.

I just recently got my 5th and 6th ports working(air pump actuated)......I think I can maybe give my friends supra a run.....I've been in both, I swear my 7 is quicker.
