i don't know how to do it, but just for a tip cuz i don't want anyone to cuss you out, some people have some sort of life, w/e it is that they do, so they only come in like once a day tops, so if you post something don't expect a reply within ten minutes, wait atleast 12 hrs to bump it up...

And when you need to use your headlights at night, what do you do?

my guess is that you would replace the lights with something a bit more potent or modern (4-eyes mod or similar) that takes the place of the old stock round lights. Something more similar to what a modern RX-8 or Mazda 6 has, much smaller lights with MUCH better illumination.

Does anyone do this the safe way, in that they don't go fully down, but do go all the way up? It wouldn't be to my taste, but I'd feel a lot better helping someone do it or knowing someone who wants to.

My friend was doing the sleepy eye mod on his 240, and he was talking to us about it while he was adjusting them, and he said lazy eye once on accident. And we were laughing at what that would look like. My friend was like "I guess that'd be one light pointed straight, and the other to the far right." We laughed about it and mine broke THAT night. I was like "Aww damn, now I'll look like a motorcycle, I don't want to pay to get that fixed" he looked at my car for a while before finally saying "Chris, I think this is what the lazy eye mods looks like." And in the midst of all my anger, I burst into laughter because of that.

the only way to do this correctly is to add another 3 way switch

i did the sleepy eye mod on my FC. it works better on an FC becuase the healight assemblies pivot so matter how how much your headlights are open the beam is still in the same direction.

and even though the headllight was 1/3 covered it was fine because i had a HID conversion
