rubber mallet and a large flathead screwdriver, or something of that shape. i used a gasket remover + mallet. it comes off really easily actually. its just the two sided tape underneath thats a pain to deal with.

g'luck man

Heat gun, set on low, and a flexible putty knife.

I used a small knife... I first used a flat screwdriver, let me tell you, thats one of the biggest mistakes ive ever made. I now have a whole bunch of dents in the side of my car because im a idiot... But anyways use a heat gun and a shop knife and take your time...

I had no problem simply ripping it off by hand, especially the piece under the gas filler door. Im sure you could probably gently pull it off. Mine didnt get deformed or anything, worth a try before the screwdriver comes into play lol.

speaking of being stupid while removing this stuff - has anyone else bent the door metal? I seem to have a convex bend where the middle tape was on both doors.
