Side exhaust?

Has anyone ran a side exhaust or have pictures of one of our first gens with some side-pipes?

I've been pulling out some really mad scientist skills on my RX7 lately. I need to toss up pictures of my $5 Home Depo front spoiler that's 100% legit and works. Hooray zipties. Now I'm thinking of doing a side exhaust, though. It'll save me so much money. I'm thinking just two mufflers and a side bend pipe through one of the sideskirts.

Do you plan on running them on both sides of the car or just one? There are afew pics out there of it being done including one with a v8 that ran dual pipes. Couple draw backs from them though, one which is the heat issue, you will need to find something to heat shield it really good. Otherwise i'd feel sorry for your gf. The second would be ground clearance. Too low and you grind on things, too high and its in the door way area.

i built a true dual setup long ago with staggered glasspacks in the stock tunnel then exiting on either side just in front of the rear wheels. LOUD!! but flames out the side were amusing.
