shut off

Ok my 85 gsl rx7 is acking kind of funny, ok when i take off it cuts off, if i hae the choke pulled out a little and i take off it goes just fine or if i slighty push the padel it goes than after like 2g its ok. iv tried everything to no aval. what can it be

so are you trying to say that under 2k, your car reacts poorly? But after 2k it's fine? if that's the case, it should have something to do with the a/f screw on the car. Do a search, there's a writeup on how to adjust them as well as check you timing.

Fuel filter would have the opposite effect, wouldn't it? Better performance at low rpm, bad at high rpm?

I would throw a timing light on her and make sure that you still have your leading ignition...
