AutoX is 80% driver, 20% car...... how much wheel time do you have?

It seems the faith in your car on the CII forum is a bit lacking Are you going to make them put the money where their mouths are?

I think if you had some sticky tires you would do alot better.. I mean he is running on almost R-compound tires.. and you have some old crappy tires. And tires DO win the race. But it will be interesting to see.. and i should be there.. maybe with the 81 RX-7.

Well, if it were an automatic, id say a giant neutral DROP is your key to victory....

Stock for stock, I've kept up with a Civic hatch on our local autoX course. Of course, there's also a CRX that roasts me on a regular basis. He's running R tires and I run street tires. If CHEF really wants to win, he'll smack down the cash for some Falken Azenies to replace those POS Dunlops he's got on now.

AutoX is all about grip, and GT Quals are not particularly grippy. My money's on the Civic unless CHEF gets better tires.

I bet that the widebody wieghs less than stock, cause you're replacing metal with fiberglass...Not a ton less mind you, but a few pounds per panel.
