Shouldn't there be a cat there?

So, I think I may be missing one of my cats (the front one). I took these pics of the underbody, so take a look, and tell me what you think. My car is an '84 GS 12A by the way.

yup! looks like it ain't there. Stock Mazda exhausts are never welded together. Looks like someone did some custom exhaust work there.
