Should I paint the mirrors silver?

I'm debating on this one. It isn't as set in stone for me as my other projects.

Should I paint my mirrors body color silver?

Here is my car now

Here is my car with the mirrors photoshopped silver. (quick two minute chop, sue me)

What do you think?

If you had aftermarket mirrors, I'd say to go for it. But stock, I'd leave them black.

I voted for black, but you removed your side trim, and I've seen a few pics of FB's totally monochromatic, and they look pretty good. If you leave the side trim off, I think you could go either way.

I edited the second pic to clean up the car. I think it looks nice, but I need more opinions, it was a hasty idea. It took me months to muster up the ***** to paint my sunroof and fuel door black. I care about my car too much.

Must admit I'm not thrilled with the sunroof and fuel door, but knowing the work you put in, I didn't want to knock you. Besides, if you like it, that's all that really counts.

The window trim and wiper arms look awsome from that distance.

The Ferrari style mirrors? Those look alright, but not better than stock.

Here's a little something I did. The rear spoiler is something I did freehand based off of the ductail that Fazzt73 is making. I think I'll order one after all. And its a shame I can't photoshop a sleepy eye look.

And with the whole mirror and arm painted

Okay idea has been scrapped. A good friend of mine told me that if SayNoToPistons thinks its a good idea, I should let it go.

But I still like Fazzt73's spoiler design I freehanded

Here are a couple pics with painted mirrors and a sort of painted mirror they really don't look bad the second pic is just so you can get the idea. If you painted them you would have to paint the whole mirror.

I bought some aftermarket mirrors that I will be color matching to the body of my car... They were cheap enough that if it looks like ****, I can throw them away.

I breifly thought about buying the Hayabusa mirrors for $20 and fender mounting them.

I might end up doing that, but keeping them black. The only reason I thought up the idea of painting them is the concentration of black in that area is a lot.

Something like this but painted black on the fender

Keep them black. And I'd look at getting some replacement side trim and paint it flat black also just to match.
Just my opinion
