shocks/coils

Hey guys. I'm looking to replace my shocks/coils, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some Tokico "Blues" (or similar) from, at a decent price. I hear they are a pretty good brand for the price. I live in Canada and would have to ship, etc. and unfortunately, I'm not independantly wealthy. I would also like to replace my stock coils with some Eibachs when I get my hands on some $$$, but like the shocks, I'm not too sure where I should get these from. Any info would me MOST appreciated!!!!!!
THX.

Do a serious online search. Shox.com will beat the listed price. So it doesn't matter what the shipping cost at the other place is (Shox ships relatively cheaply). In the end, it was way cheaper shipping up from Shox.com than buying local (in Canada).

shocks/coils

Thanks guys. Kinda figured it would be cheaper to buy and ship from the U.S. I had seen the website for shox.com advertised on another post, but I wasn't able to access their website. Wasn't sure if they were still around, or if their site was having some problems. I will check again. Wish me luck.

They sell koni's for our cars that work great, and are fairly cheap. 35 a piece for the front, 75 for the rear, i think.

I've seen the Koni's before, as well as some KYB's but wasn't sure how good the shocks are. The price is definitely right. Any idea how these stack up to Tokicos? Everyone seems to have a good opinion of these.

I've got the Konis along with some RB springs on my 82. The handling difference was night and day when compared to the worn out stock setup. It is alittle jarring on broken pavement, but luckily it's not a daily driver. Only problem I see with them is the lack of external adjustabilty. To adjust the damping rate, you have to pull everything apart. But the price was right, and it is mainly used just for AutoX. Also, I believe the Koni's are re-buildable.

Was bidding on some new Tokicos on ebay, but the guy pulled them off the auction! @!%#!^!!@!#!!! The price @coximports is definitely doable. Thinking I might go with them (providing the ship to CANADA, that is!).
THX. guys!!!

For the RX-7, what it the best combo of lowering spring and shock/strut.

From previous experience with Hondas, in order to achieve your performance goals while maintaining a comfortable ride you need to have spring and shock/strut combo that are complimentary (spring rate, tuned, etc). For the Accords the best combo was Neuspeed springs with Koni Yellow shocks/struts. What are some of your experiences with the RX-7s? What do you all recommend?

Thanks!
-Mike

The tokico blues and eibachs are exactly the combo I wanted to get (actually.......illuminas and eibachs are the EXACT combo). Unfortunately, I'm going to have to go with KYB GR-2's as far as the shocks go (price/poverty issue), but will definitely try and pick up some eibachs when I get some $$$$!!!!............Anybody selling some cheap blues/illuminas for sale??????????
