Tokico blues. Nice performance upgrade shock. Check www.shox.com or ebay. Theres a guy there who sells them in sets for a good price.

It all depends on what you want. Tokico Illuminas are the best street/autocross replacement, with 5 settings. The Tokico Blues are good non-adjustable inserts that offer a stiffer ride than stock. Finally, KYB GR-2 replacements offer stock quality ride and control.

You should think about springs as well, chances are if your struts/shocks are going, your springs are probably sagged out as well.

Tripoint recommends them naturally since it is what they sell and they are an official Koni service and rebuild center

From info that I have gathered from autocrossers, Konis are the choice for those running in stock class

I think that it all depends on what you want to do and what you have to spend.

If you are road racing and running really hard core springs only a few shocks work. If you just want something sporty for the street, there are a whole lot of choices. I think you should fingue out what you want to do with the car before you start buying parts.

If price is all that is important, remember you can alway spend more for better shock. So what you want to spend?

Tokico Blues are about $35 each
Tokico Illuminas run from $80n to $115 depending if you get the racing shocks or street shocks.
Konis, like Jim suggests run $248 each.
Penske and Advantage run what $600 to $800 each.

Good luck

I have Koni 2 way adjustables on the rear - price was excellent, I got 'em for free.

I have them set on firm and like them - they are stiffer than the stock stuff, it handles well with them. I could definately tell a difference.
